The song’s appeal led to its inclusion on the Billboard Hot 100 chart, where it reached number 44, solidifying Burna Boy’s position as an international music icon.
With over a million units sold in the US thanks to the resounding reception to “Last Last,” Burna Boy is now eligible to receive yet another RIAA platinum plaque.
Burna Boy has become the first Nigerian musician to receive two RIAA platinum plaques as a lead artist after receiving his first platinum certification for his popular song “YE” in 2018 and now for “Last Last,” which has received a similar honor.
