Veteran actor, Segun Arinze, charges youths on politics ahead of 2023

Veteran Nollywood actor, Segun Arinze, has charged the Nigerian youths to engage in politics ahead of the 2023 presidential elections.
The movie star spoke in a recent chat with HipTV while reflecting on the situation of things in the country.
Arinze said he believes the youths can do better to improve the country.
He also called on young Nigerians to get involved in active politics, adding that “it’s time to take over.”
“I believe Nigerian youths are very hardworking, talented, beautiful, focused and never mind once in a while you find a few despicable ones but that doesn’t put a blanket on all of them, I believe in Nigerian youths, I believe that they can do better and greater things.”

“For me, it’s time for them to also get active in politics, it’s time to take over, let’s change the baton for a while.”
Meanwhile, the actor is one of the several celebrities who have talked about youth participation in politics.
