Fuji singer, Wasiu Alabi Odetola, popularly known as Pasuma and comedian, Bayegun Oluwatoyin, better known as Woli Arole, recently performed at the south-west youth rally for presidential aspirant of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Bola Ahmed Tinubu.

In a video that surfaced online, Pasuma could be seen greeting Tinubu as he treated the audience to Fuji music.

The event where Tinubu formally declared to the south-west youth, his intention to run for president in 2023 was held at the Mobolaji Johnson Arena, Onikan Stadium in Lagos on Saturday.

The declaration was also attended by public figures such as Akin Alabi and Kwam 1.

Also in attendance was Babajide Sanwo-Olu, Lagos governor, who took to Twitter to share photos from the event.

Sanwo-Olu wrote:

“I joined young people from the SW states at Mobolaji Johnson Arena, Onikan in their support for the presidential aspiration of Asiwaju Bola Tinubu.”

“In the company of deputy governor and other leaders of our great party in Lagos and other SW states.”

“We saw the determination and energy of our young people to work for the success of Asiwaju Bola Tinubu’s aspiration that is only motivated by a higher purpose of service to the people of this great country.”

The former Lagos governor, Tinubu, had announced his intention to contest for the 2023 presidency on January 10.

He said:

“I’ve informed the president of my intention but I have not informed Nigerians yet.”

“I’m still consulting. And I have no problem consulting. I’ve not set a parameter of limitation to the extent of how many people I will consult.”
