Davido features Kanye West’s Sunday service choir in new song

Afropop star, David Adeleke, popularly known as Davido has disclosed that his new song, Stand Strong, which is the first track off his upcoming album, features Kanye West’s Sunday service choir.

Davido who shared a snippet of the song, said the project would be released on May 13, the same day Afrofusion singer, Burna Boy’s new song is to released.

In the shared clip, Davido appears to be adopting West’s Sunday service style for the new song.

In a series of posts accompanying the clip, Davido said the project is special to him. He added that the project’s “conception has been different.”

“For the first time I want to bring you into the other part of my world. The part where every day is a battle but I have no option but to ‘Stand Strong’. I present to you, the first single off my next album.”

“This one is special to me. It’s different. The conception has been different. The mindset has been different. The making has been different.”

“I know you love it when I make you dance, but now I want to make you feel. This one’s for everyone out there holding it up.”
