‘Going to church doesn’t make you a good person’ – Stan Nze says

Award winning Nollywood actor, Stan Nze has revealed the importance of truthfulness as a true Christian.

The Anambra State born Thespian via his Twitter handle further stated that being a church goer doesn’t guarantee one to be a good person.

“Going to church doesn’t mean you are a good person o. You can’t be going to church and people are still not comfortable doing business with you. Nah! You are still in Oshodi and you say your in Iyana Oworo. Naaaah. By their fruits. The way to know a true Christian (Someone who is Christ – like) is by character not church. By their fruits you shall know them. Matt 7: 18,” he wrote.

Recall that a few days ago, Stan Nze’s wife, Blessing Jessica couldn’t get over the fact that her husband, won the best actor at the just concluded African Magic Viewers Choice Awards (AMVCA).

The excited actress who got married to her younger lover in 2021, took to her Instagram page to hail Nze, revealing how he fought many battles to get to where he is today.

Also celebrating his birthday, she wrote, “My King!! Today people see the glam and glory and celebrate you. But I see the process.
The journey. The obstacles God saw us through. The battles He fought.
The good people He surrounded us with. The opportunities He brings our way. The love we share… And I celebrate your strength, your tenacity, your zeal and hardwork, your relentlessness, your passion and I’m glad and honoured to sit with you, side by side, hand in hand as we stride on.
My people, I present to you the Best Actor that ever liveth!!! Happy birthday My Sweetness…The world is our stage!
Speak it till you see it TheNzestotheworld. Bestactorindrama.”

On Saturday, May 14, Stan Nze won AMVCA’s best actor for his role in Rattlesnake : The Ahanna Story, while Osas Ighodaro won best actress for her role in same movie
