Don’t tamper with the will of Osun people – Davido
David Adeleke, better known as Davido, expressed his disappointment on Twitter about his uncle Ademola Adeleke’s lack of receipt of his certificate of return after Ademola Adeleke won the governorship of Osun State on the PDP platform.
In the hotly disputed election that took place in Osun State on Saturday, Adeleke won.
He won by defeating the incumbent governor, Gboyega Oyetola, who was running for governor as an APC candidate.
While voters cast their ballots in Osun State, Davido came there to support his uncle.
The artist quesioned INEC for holding up his uncle’s certificate of return in a tweet.
“48hrs after our @AAdeleke_01 victory at the Osun Gubernatorial election, we are yet to receive our certificate. @inecnigeria, should we send you fuel money.LOL. Please, no one should tamper with the Will of Osun People! Issue the certificate as required by law!”
