Months after Astroworld tragedy, Travis Scott to perform in sold-out concert.
After the Astroworld incident, which resulted in the deaths of ten people and the injuries of several others, American musician Travis Scott is set to fully return to live concerts.
At Houston, Texas’ NRG Park in November 2021, the rapper—who also planned the Astroworld Festival—was performing when a rush broke out, injuring a number of onlookers.
Following the tragedy, the rapper faced nearly 300 lawsuits.
He is fully back to performing live now that he has recovered from the incident, and this time, his show is already completely sold out.
Due to fan demand, he added a second date at London’s O2 Arena, according to Complex.
In just two hours, his opening show was sold out.
His second performance is currently scheduled for August 7.
The welcoming development, according to his spokeswoman, is only the “latest sign” that his followers are eagerly anticipating his full-fledged comeback to live engagements.
“Travis packed weekend performances and the fact that the O2 show in London sold out within two hours are just latest signs that fans demand is sky-high for the return of one of the world’s favorite artiste.”
