Oxlade, Portable, Sherif Black tops Google searches for 2022 first half

Google searches for Oxlade, Black Sherif, and Portable rank among the top music figures, in Nigeria for the first half of 2022.

Thursday saw the unveiling of Google’s list of the top searches for the first half of 2022.

Nigerians have experienced a lot of excitement in the first half of 2022 between politics, high-profile deaths, sports figures, blockbuster movies and TV shows, Nollywood stars, and singers.

Multiple times, Oxlade, Black Sherif, and Portable were featured in the news for various topics.

In the first half of the year, Bianca Ojukwu, Peter Obi, and Vladimir Putin were the top three trending individuals in Nigeria.

Osinachi Nwachukwu’s passing ranks first on the list of notable deaths.

In a case of domestic abuse, her husband is said to have killed her.

Another gospel artist, Chinedu Nwadike, passed away, and his passing was the second most searched-for death in Nigeria.
