Fans donate for Eedris Abdulkareem’s kidney transplant, more than N1 million raised
The GoFundMe account set up by friends on Eedris Abdulkareem’s behalf to help with his kidney transplant has been verified by the Nigerian artist.
The “Jaga Jaga” crooner is currently receiving dialysis after being recently diagnosed with kidney failure.
Abdulkareem’s kidney transplant is scheduled for July 27.
TheCable Lifestyle previously revealed, the rapper’s wife, Yetunde, will donate one of her kidneys.
The musician said he approved the formation of the GoFundMe after being persuaded by his fans and friends in an Instagram post on Thursday.
In addition, Abdulkareem stated that he feels “better, strong and agile in body and soul” ahead of the procedure.
Abdulkareem thanked his friends, family, and fans for their support.
The fundraiser has received $2,419 (N1,173,700) from 84 donors as of the time of this post, surpassing its £48,000 goal.
