Tiwa Savage bags honorary doctorate degree from alma mater
Nigerian queen of afrobeats, Tiwa Savage, has received an honorary degree from her alma mater, University of Kent, in the United Kingdom.
A picture of the singer receiving the certificate in Canterbury Cathedral on Friday morning was posted by the school on Twitter.
The image’s caption said;
“CONGRATULATIONS DR @TIWASAVAGE! WE’RE SUPER PROUD TO HAVE AWARDED THE QUEEN OF AFROBEATS AN HONORARY DOCTORATE AT CANTERBURY CATHEDRAL THIS MORNING.”
