Nigerian singer-songwriter, Chinedu Okoli, better known by his stage name Flavour, has been featured in Loud In Africa, a new entertainment documentary by US-based multimedia executive, Abass Akeju.

Based on actual events, the documentary provides a close-up, behind-the-scenes look at the professional paths and dynamic processes that motivate experts in various creative industries to make the most of their skill sets.

The documentary’s creator called it “series exploring the background stories of some of Africa’s music cultures, creative experts, challenges and inspiration behind some of their dominant projects.”

Flavour discusses his foray into the music business, his role model, and his drive in the first episode, among other things.

“I started playing drums in church, and while at it I got inspired by some of the artistes performing during concerts in church and was motivated to be just like them.” The documentary creator noted that it would continue to be updated on a regular basis and would include more well-known artists and professionals from the creative sector.

He continued by saying that the documentary will go on for a while and would feature famous African and Diasporan artists.
