Actress, Hilda Dokubo announces political ambition
Hilda Dokubo, Nollywood actress, has announced her intention to run for office, adding to the list of actors and musicians who have ventured into politics.
The actor has expressed interest in running for the Federal House of Representatives on the Labour Party ticket in Rivers State’s Asalga/Akulga Federal Constituency.
Hilda Dokubo officially launched her flyer and announced her candidacy for the federal constituency of Asalga Akulga in the House of Representatives.
“My dear people, I write to apply…. Yours OBIdiently.” she wrote in a recent Instagram post.
Others who have ventured into politics include, Funke Akindele, Tonto Dikeh, Caroline Danjuma, Banky W, Desmond Elliot, and Rita Daniels.
