Five years after raising two children with Offset, American female rapper Belcalis Almanzar, better known as Cardi B, has announced that she will marry her partner in an official wedding ceremony.

The couple secretly married on September 20, 2017, and Cardi B confirmed the rumour in June 2018 after much public speculation.

She shared a photo of herself wearing a white tracksuit and holding her husband’s hand at a secret event on their first wedding anniversary.

However, the Bodak Yellow rapper has announced plans for a wedding ceremony, as her marriage celebrated its fifth anniversary on Monday.

“After 5 years of marriage, it’s time for my wedding,” she tweeted on Monday.

While the couple is undeniably one of the most romantic in Hollywood, their relationship has seen several storms.

Just months after their wedding in 2017, Offset’s infidelity became public. 

The couple split up in December 2018, but reconciled in January 2019 after Offset made public pleas.

Cardi B filed for divorce in September 2020. 

Cardi dispelled rumours of Offset cheating once more, explaining that they were simply no longer “seeing things eye to eye.” 

However, the couple reconciled again in November of the same year.

Offset and Cardi have got two children, Kulture, 4, and Wave, 1.
