Baba Ijesha laments critical health in prison
Olanrewaju James, aka Baba Ijesha, has stated that he is ill in prison and is suffering from an unknown illness.
The comic actor, who was convicted of rape in July, revealed that he has been battling the serious and deadly disease since before he was sentenced, and it is wreaking havoc on his health.
He claimed he no longer gets enough sleep or eats well.
He begged Nigerians to save him because he was being held responsible for a crime he did not commit.
The actor then begged God to judge Princess for accusing him of defiling her adopted daughter.
I am battling a very serious and deadly ailment here in prison which is deteriorating my health.
Please I need help. I don’t sleep or eat well anymore. I don’t want to die here. I am suffering for what I know nothing about. The Almighty God will judge Princess for lying against me that I deflowered her daughter.
His outburst comes just days after he requested post-conviction bail from an Ikeja Domestic and Sexual Violence Court, pending a hearing and decision on his appeal before the Lagos Division of the Court of Appeal.
