‘Glass Onion’ hits 82m view hours in few days- Netflix
Netflix has revealed that the murder-mystery sequel, ‘Glass Onion’, was streamed in 35 million households during the course of the Christmas holiday.
The platform stated that it received 82.1 million hours of viewing on their platform. After a limited run in theaters the month before, “Glass Onion” was released on Netflix on December 23.
In second place to this summer’s “The Gray Man,” the movie had one of Netflix’s strongest initial streaming performances of the year (88.6M).
After Lionsgate’s 2019 release of “Knives Out” became a critical and financial success, Netflix paid $450 million for the rights to two sequels, with “Glass Onion” being the first.
