Jackie Appiah donates borehole, toilets to hometown on 39th birthday
Ghanaian star actress, Jackie Appiah, has demonstrated uncommon generosity as she celebrated her 39th birthday in her hometown.
The actor built a 10-unit public toilet (water closet) for the people of Abankro, a town near Ejisu in Ghana’s Ashanti Region.
Jackie, who did not dwell on the euphoria of reaching a new age alone, travelled to her hometown with a large entourage to celebrate with people and put smiles on their faces as she handed over the facilities and other items she had donated to them.
She also gave the town a newly built borehole and gave students mattresses, school bags, food, and toiletries, among other things.
In a video of the items’ presentation that went viral, the actress was greeted with grandeur and pageantry in her hometown.
