Timeless Bridals at the GMYT Humanitarian Awards and Fashion Show
The much anticipated GMYT African Humanitarian Awards (GAH-AWARDS) and Fashion Show held penultimate Friday, with students of the academy hosting guests to a spectacular runway show.

Held at the Oriental hotels Lagos, the event which is the 10th anniversary, featured an amazing and timeless line of bridal collection by graduating students of the GMYT fashion academy. With feminine frills, ruffles, outstanding necklines and sleeves, the graduates gave us an insight into next year’s bridal trends and more.
As part of its 10th year anniversary, GAH-AWARDS kicked off the empowerment program at the event, by empowering one hundred (100) emerging designers who are passionate about becoming fashion entrepreneurs.
Three graduating students were also given start up funds of N500, 000, N300, 000 and N200, 000, while 20 sewing machines were also presented to some of the graduates.
The night also saw the recognition and celebration of some organisations and individuals who have contributed positively to societal transformation, and have also created a huge impact in people’s lives through their humanitarian efforts.
The well attended event was witnessed by top personalities including Evelyn Oputu former Managing Director of the Bank of Industry, Toyin Kolade the Iyalaje Oodua, Royal Fathers amongst other distinguished personalities.
