Chisom Udoye, has been announced winner of the  maiden edition of Face of the Zandas Global Resources Ltd brand contest (FOZ).

The epoch making event which held at Oriental Hotels, Lagos saw Udoye take home 2 million naira as cash prize.

Other winners are Jadesola Ayeola – 1st Runner up, Pearl Benedict – 2nd Runner Up, Anyanwu Kelechi – 3rd Runner Up and Anita Nwaokoru- 4th Runner Up.

The first runner-up took home N1.5 million, while the second runner-up got N1 million. In addition, all the winners were awarded with one year working contract with ZGL.

FOZ grand finale also served as an opportunity to introduce ZGL’s newest skincare addition: The X7 Face and Body Scrub.

Mr Arinze, the MD/CEO of Zandas Global, says the Face of Zandas also aims at providing an enabling platform to help young aspiring models and influencers find the initial push into a very competitive space without compromise.

“It’s about giving young people not just money but the skills, knowledge to wield the power of the internet and a platform to build/own their brands and be positively positioned for a place in the ever-evolving digital space,” he said.

Selections were made based on individuals with the best presentation plus a demonstrated understanding of the brand and it’s objectives.

Beyond being a cosmetics brand, he said ZGL believes in giving back and positively impacting society via youth engagement programs.  As part of its CSR drive, the brand hopes to give young women the opportunity to thrive and excel in social media and, by extension, the digital world.
