Hollywood actor Lance Reddick passes away at 60 due to natural causes
Lance Reddick, a renowned Hollywood actor recognized for his outstanding portrayal of police lieutenant Cedric Daniels in the crime drama series ‘The Wire,’ has reportedly passed away at the age of 60.
According to reports, he passed away suddenly in the early hours of Friday due to natural causes.
Reddick was widely acknowledged for his impressive performances as a tall, suave, and taciturn man of distinction, often appearing in suits or crisp uniforms in his acting roles.
He recently appeared in the popular ‘John Wick’ movie franchise, playing the role of hotel concierge Charon in all four movies, with the final installment scheduled for release in the UK next week.
Prior to his demise, Reddick was working on several upcoming projects, including the remake of ‘White Men Can’t Jump’ by 20th Century, and ‘Shirley,’ a biopic of former Congresswoman Shirley Chisholm, set to be released on Netflix.
In 2021, Reddick received a SAG Award nomination for his remarkable performance in Regina King’s movie ‘One Night in Miami.’
