‘I became a millionaire in Lagos’ – Edo State born Toyin Abraham

Nollywood actress and filmmaker,Toyin Abraham-Ajeyemi has continued to canvass for the re-election of APC’s Governor of Lagos State, Babajide Sanwo-Olu, despite the criticism she has faced.

Hours ago, the mother of one who has remained unmoved regardless of all shades of criticism, took to her Twitter platform to hint that her success story is linked to Lagos state.

“Lagos State where I became a millionaire as an Edo babe. Sanwo Again. Sanwo Eko. Good governor. My choice,” she tweeted.

It would be recalled that Toyin Abraham was  subjected to social media criticisms after she publicly showed support for president-elect, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu.

Some of her fans also threatened to boycott her movie at the cinema

Reacting to all of the criticisms, Toyin insisted that, her choice of a presidential candidate was of her free will and she was not paid to campaign or vote for any party.

Also, a few days ago, she made a conditional statement in her native language, implying that if she received payment to vote, her fans’ desires would affect her. She also said a prayer for protection against death.

“Ti mo ba gba owo, imo yin ase le mi Lori but if it’s just my choice and nothing more gbagbe eni ti o je gbi ko le ku gbi🙏Emi oluwatoyin dada mi o ni ku gbi ati pe irawo mi ko ni wo omi.”

Which translates: “If I collect money, your wish will come to pass on me but if it’s just my choice and nothing more forgetting the person that eats gbi can’t die🙏 I Oluwatoyin good I will not die and my star will not fall into water.”
