Yul Edochie loses first son, Kambilichukwu
Nollywood actor, Yul Edochie has been struck by tragedy with the loss of his first son, Kambilichukwu Edochie.
According to emerging reports, the young boy fell unconscious and was rushed to the hospital where he passed away.
A source who spoke to Vanguard on condition of anonymity disclosed that Yul had confirmed the devastating news of his son’s passing.
The cause of Kambilichukwu’s death has not been officially announced, but May’s sister, who was present at the scene, revealed that the boy had spent the night studying for an exam before joining his friends for a game of football.
Unfortunately, he developed a seizure during the game and was quickly rushed to Mother and Child Hospital. Despite the best efforts of the doctors, Kambilichukwu did not survive.
This tragic event occurred just two months after Yul Edochie and his first wife, May, celebrated their son’s 16th birthday with joy and blessings.
The news of Kambilichukwu’s untimely passing has shocked fans and colleagues of the actor, who is known for his notable contributions to the Nigerian film industry.
As of the time of this report, Yul Edochie has not made any public statements regarding his son’s death.
