Beauty trends to try now

You can almost instantly notice that a bad nights sleep doesnt favour your face when you wake up.

According to experts, one night of poor sleep can leave you with a slew of problems because the seven to nine hours of sleep most adults need is when your body restores itself.

Beauty sleep is therefore a real thing; not just a cliche and truly affects how your skin and body restore themselves after a long day. It it also greatly affects your brain and muscles.
Heres why you should get enough of sleep everyday if you want to look your best.

Heavy graphic eyeliner
Graphic eyeliner and eyeshadow looks are becoming ultra-popular.

Nse-Ikpe Etim takes the embellishment trend a notch higher with her dramatic addition of heavy graphic eyeliner.
While you can certainly create a graphic look on your eye area using an eyeliner pencil or liquid liner alone, opting to blend it out using eyeshadow makes for a softer, more diffused result.

Sci-fi lipstick
No other beauty trend leaves on-lookers mesmerised like the sci-fi lipstick trend which gives your lips a futuristic edge with frosty, metallic finish in cool tones like silver. This is quite an intimidating trend; feel free to also try it in lipgloss form.

Eyebrow Slits
Slit eyebrows intentionally shaved gaps in the eyebrows, are the new cool thing after brow piercings.
The 90s trend is making a comeback now, with people experimenting with it as a form of self-expression.
Eyebrow slits involve shaving a little part of the brow or brushing it over with makeup to create the illusion of a slit. You can try either the single brow slit or the multiple slits for a more striped effect.

Embellished lids
Take a cue from Nse-Ikpe Etim.
Up your makeup game with gorgeous eye area embellishments.
Embellishments in many different forms like rhinestones, studs, and pearls are becoming more commonplace in everyday makeup and on the red carpet. This is an interesting way to brighten your eye area or grab attention.

Vamp lipstick
Taking your makeup look to the next level is all in the details. Sure, simple, no-makeup, makeup looks have solidified a place in our hearts, but theres nothing quite like nailing something new that has a unique flair to it.
Fortunately, 2023s beauty is defined by all things visionary, both in terms of application and final effect. Maximalism, is, in fact, the name of the game. Theres therefore no better time to experiment with fun looks. Find here beauty trends that are having a huge moment right now.
