Charly Boy to hold thanksgiving service for surviving prostate cancer
Nigeria’s controversial singer and activist, Charles Oputa, popularly known as Charly Boy, is set to hold a thanksgiving service after his battle with prostate cancer.
The news of Charly Boy’s struggle with the disease was shared on social media a few weeks ago when he posted a video of himself being wheeled out of the theater.
Taking to Instagram, the singer shared details of the ceremony which will hold at the Church of Assumption on Saturday, April 29th, at 12 noon.
He expressed gratitude for surviving the disease, saying, “I dey go thank God for sparing my life from Prostate Cancer.”
Charly Boy’s announcement has sparked excitement and support from fans and well-wishers who have sent him messages of congratulations and prayers.
The singer has also added, “Hopefully, my instrument go begin function again, I go let una know because I go do another thanksgiving for dat one.”
