Reactions as Tonto Dikeh announces readiness for third liposuction

Nollywood actress, Tonto Dike’s announcement that she is undergoing her third liposuction has sparked mixed reactions online, with some followers urging caution while others showed support.

In an Instagram post, the mother of one revealed that she has decided to go for a third liposuction on Monday after her previous two surgeries in 2017 and 2021.

However, she admitted to not managing her first post-liposuction period well, which caused a relapse.

Despite her excitement, some of her followers reminded her to consider the aftermath of the surgeries. One fan wrote, “Why do you want to destroy your beautiful body? They won’t tell you the after-dangerous effects. But in the near future, you will be running here and there.”

Another follower urged Tonto to leave her body alone, saying that it is natural to have changes after birth. “Stop pleasing society. God knows why our bodies undergo these changes,” she wrote.

Other followers, however, showed support for the actress. One fan wrote, “You are beautiful with or without it, but if it makes you happy, do it.”

Tonto’s decision to undergo liposuction for the third time has also sparked discussions about the risks associated with the procedure.

Some followers reminded Tonto of the late Stella Obasanjo, a former Nigerian First Lady, who died during a similar surgery.

Regardless of the mixed reactions, Tonto’s announcement has once again brought attention to the debate around cosmetic surgery and the impact it can have on a person’s mental and physical health.
