Don’t be bullied into dating broke guys – TG Omori
Nigerian music video director, ThankGod Omori Jesam, popularly known as TG Omori, has advised women not to feel pressured into dating financially unstable partners.
The filmmaker’s message comes in response to the derogatory term “gold-digger” that has been circulating on social media to describe women who prioritize financial stability in relationships.
TG Omori believes that the decision to choose a partner should be a personal one and not influenced by societal norms or pressure.
In a tweet, he urged women to assess their lives and set standards for their ideal partner.
He wrote, “Your choice of partner is a personal decision. Don’t let them bully you into dating a broke person in the name of gold-digging. Look at your life well and plan your aesthetics.”
His statement has resonated with many women who feel judged and shamed for having high standards in relationships.
