AFWL TO HOST 1st UKAFRICA TRADE EXPO: BEYOND FASHION

Organisers of the Africa Fashion Week London AFWL, the biggest Pan-African Fashion Show in Europe, are incredibly pleased to introduce the inaugural UKAFRICA TRADE EXPO: Beyond Fashion.

According to the Founder of AFWL Olori Aderonke Ademiluyi Ogunwusi, the UKAFRICA TRADE EXPO is the creative platform for fostering international trade between the UK and Africa.

Featuring a highly anticipated Keynote Speech from His Imperial Majesty, Ooni of Ife, Adeyeye Enitan Ogunwusi on the importance of Commerce and Culture; the UKAFRICA TRADE EXPO showcases the unique abilities of sub-regions by providing practical information, advice and support sessions for entrepreneurs, business support organisations and Chambers of Commerce.

Building collaboration across borders, the Expo will facilitate value chain, sector development and share women entrepreneurs’ case studies on trade and sustainable development programmes.

According to Olori Ademiluyi Ogunwusi The UKAFRICA TRADE EXPO which will kick off the Fashion Week on October 27, will be a far-reaching hub of connectivity designed to leverage the diaspora dividend, offer business support and networking opportunities for creatives, start-ups and MSMEs

It will feature panels and entertainment and networking events on:

Customised buyer-seller meetings
Packaging solutions: Branding and Presentation
Waste Recycling Initiatives
Live Performances
Celebrating Windrush 75: African and Caribbean Creatives
Celebrity Creative Industry Panels on:
Africa Fashion: The Heritage Generation
Music Means Business
Hair & Beauty
Textiles
