GTCO Fashion Weekend kicks-off in Lagos

GTCO Fashion Weekend kicked-off for its 6th edition, Saturday in Lagos, setting the stage for another two-day memorable experience for fashion and beauty enthusiasts from across Nigeria and Africa.
The event, which morphed into a festival ground of some sorts barely after it began in the early hours of the day, treated thousands of fashion-forwards, both old and young, who thronged its Landmark Events Centre venue to a non-stop atmosphere of music, dance and fun.
True to its mission of becoming the biggest platform for showcasing the best of Africa’s finest fashion to a global audience, the consumer-focused fair opened with over 140 free stalls where creative entrepreneurs displayed products at no cost.
Over the years, the event has firmly established its place as an incubator for diverse talents, creativity, and enterprise in fashion retail, bringing together some of Africa’s prominent fashion brands alongside relatively newer labels.
