Neyo Stitches to build on the momentum of Birmingham Fashion Show

After participating in the Birmingham Fashion Show, the founder and creative director of Neyo Stitches has expressed optimism that his fashion brand is now global.

Adekunle Samuel Adeniyi, made the declaration recently where he also assured that Neyo Stitches will release some collections in the first quarter of 2024.

According to the 31-year-old Oyo State-born fashionista: “It was fantastic seeing the Neyo brand at the Birmingham Fashion Show this December. It made me believe in the brand and that we are actually doing a great job and moving forward. I met some new designers who made it possible for Neyo Stitches to feature in the recent pop-up in Birmingham. We’ve featured on two runways this year, at Birmingham Fashion Week and Africa Fashion and Art Award.”

Shedding light on the fashion brand, he said: “Anyone who wants good stitches and wants to look good, is a potential client of Neyo Stitches. While my tailored wear reflects quality and precision, I, however, strive to offer competitive and fair pricing. The value lies in the unique, customised experience and the high-quality materials used to craft each piece.”

His passion for fashion, he insisted, is unquenchable.

The Neyo Stitches boss said: “I have loved fashion ever since I was a teenager. When I wasn’t paying enough attention in school, my parents had to sit me down and say to me, ‘What do really want to do if you have no interest in school?’ I didn’t even think twice when I told them I wanted to be a fashion designer. I was taken to a place where I learned how to sew in Ibadan; from there, I went to Lagos in 2017, to seek more knowledge about fashion designing.”

On how he came about the brand name, he explained: “My surname is Adeniyi and people tend to call me Niyi or Neyo; on the other hand, I have a great love for music artist Neyo. So, I just added the word “Stitches.” That is how I arrived at Neyo Stitches.”

His brand going global is one of his dreams. While the event in Birmingham was a step closer to that dream, he also has aspirations to participate in important global fashion shows such as African Fashion Week, Arise Fashion Week, and the Liverpool Fashion Show.

Below are some photos from the Bristol Fashion show.
