Nollywood actress and movie producer, Toyin Abraham-Ajeyemi has taken to social media to thank senior colleagues who paved the way for her in the industry.

The award-winning actress thanked them for picking her up, guiding, opening doors, and being there for her, especially in the early days in the Yoruba movie industry.
In a post on Instagram, she wrote: “Today, as I begin the week. I cast my mind back to those who made the journey of my life easier. Those God sent my way to guide me, open doors for me, pick me up and were there for me, especially in the early days of the Yoruba movie industry.
“From Aunty Bukky, Bro Bayo, My colleagues and those who were friends in those days to Aunty Iyabo @iyaboojofespris, you made my journey quite an experience. The marketers, producers, crew members and directors who put in the money and sweat and some of their blood, without you, we wouldn’t know the industry could be this big. Thank you.
“Please I am not able to mention every name, please note that if you have been good to me or once close to me and you have contributed to this journey, I thank you. You were God sent. Eyin na ma ba alanu pade.”

You would recall that Toyin, in a recent development has sent similar heartfelt messages to fellow movie producers, Funke Akindele and Mercy Aigbe commending them on the roles they have played in moving the industry forward.
