Preston Audu-Ohwavborua, a diligent Computer Science graduate with an MSc in Artificial Intelligence and Business Strategy, is set to host the Niger Delta Digital Summit on August 29, 2024.

As the Business/Growth Executive at Emmppek Group Ltd, Audu-Ohwavborua brings a wealth of technical proficiency and strategic acumen to this groundbreaking event.

The Summit aims to empower residents of the Niger Delta with actionable digital skills and foster collaborative efforts towards sustainable economic growth beyond oil revenue. Workshops and interactive sessions will provide practical knowledge in coding, digital marketing, and other essential areas of the digital economy.

Themes and discussions will focus on leveraging technology for diversification, addressing issues such as Digital Literacy, Sustainable Energy & Environment, and more. Concrete strategies, including mentorship programs, will be implemented to bridge the digital gap within the region.

Various platforms, including networking sessions and panel discussions, will facilitate collaboration between stakeholders, fostering dialogue and partnership formation for impactful digital development. Additionally, a pitch competition for local startups will provide a platform for innovative solutions to address regional challenges and stimulate entrepreneurship.

Audu-Ohwavborua, along with Mathesis Events and Nest Hogins, is spearheading this initiative to shape a thriving, sustainable digital future for the Niger Delta. Together, they invite stakeholders, government officials, entrepreneurs, and innovators to join hands in co-creating solutions that will propel the region towards inclusive growth and prosperity.
