Ayebiiwo’s inspiration stemmed from the women who surrounded her while growing up; women who moved with quiet authority in gele and lace, who carried themselves like royalty in both everyday and celebratory settings. “I wanted to create clothes that didn’t just nod to tradition but allowed women to live fully in it,” she explains.

She imagined pieces that could adapt to the rhythm of women’s lives, garments that command attention in the workplace, flow effortlessly at evening gatherings, and hold their ground in moments of ceremony. That adaptability became her guiding principle.
 
This vision comes through in the collection’s making. Flowing gowns echo the grandeur of cultural celebrations, while tailored separates carry the polish of contemporary power dressing. By sourcing fabrics through Nigerian print houses and investing in hand-finishing techniques, the brand supports not only artistry but also community.
