RIGHT WAYS TO SCHEDULE SEX

July 7,2024
Share:

Lovemaking is a vital ingredient of any union and it distinguishes between a romantic union and a platonic one.

The constant demands of daily life can help push intercourse to the bottom of a priority list. The reason for scheduling sex can be a game changer for your sexual life even though, many couples may frown at this because they believe sex should be spontaneous, and that scheduling it, takes away passion and excitement.

Planning sex does not have to be boring; instead, it can be a way to prioritise intimacy and make it a part of your regular routine. And, it does not mean one has to be on a strict timetable or else, it will be a dull experience.
Let’s get this straight, planned sex is better than no intercourse.

Scheduling lovemaking means you are intentionally prioritising your sexual relationship, which can help maintain the connection between you and your spouse.
Here’s how to schedule sex right:

Choose A Consistent Day And Time- Plan and treat lovemaking as a non-negotiable appointment. Pick a day and time that works for both of you such as Wednesday by 8p.m or Sunday morning by 6a.m and put it in your calendar.

Create A Pre-Sex Ritual- By developing a routine that signals intimacy time, such as a relaxing bath/shower together, candlelight dinner or wine and cheese with soft music and sensual massage.

Reduce Pressure Around Sex- Spontaneous sexual act can cause anxiety about whether both lovers are in the mood or if one of them is being pressured. This can lead to avoiding the act altogether; but planning lovemaking can be a more relaxed and enjoyable experience as long as both soulmates agree on the time and are willing to see it through.

Build Anticipation & Excitement- Planned intercourse can help to create sexual anticipation and excitement leading up to the act; more especially, if you plan something special, like sending flirtatious sexy texts/photos or surprises like gifts or lingerie, or a sultry voice message throughout the day preceding the intimate session. This can actually help to enhance the sexual activity later on.

Encourage Communication And Sexploration- Going out of your comfort zone to schedule sex creates the opportunity for couples to discuss their sexual preferences, desires and boundaries. Sexual communication can lead to sexploration, experimentation, and ultimately, to a more fulfilling sex life. So, give it a shot by communicating openly and honestly with your significant other about your sexual needs and desires and in the process, find out the time that works for you two.

*Be Flexible- Life can be unpredictable, so don’t fret if you need to adjust the schedule occasionally.

*Get Creative: Mix things up with a new position, toys or role playing.
Try new stuff to keep things exciting and be creative by taking an essential step towards making your sexual and emotional health a priority in your union.

Keep It Spontaneous- Leave room for impromptu moments; like surprise quickie or a spontaneous evening outing.

Your willingness to give scheduling sex a try, in order to have a fulfilling and satisfying loving making, will be gainful to you and your relationship despite the negative things you have heard about it.
Given the right step, planned sex can be as enjoyable and fulfilling as spontaneous mating.
Commit to your planned intimacy time and try avoiding rescheduling or canceling.
Have fun scheduling your next intimacy date and at the same time, wish you and your significant other lots of warm, wonderful and sexual connections.
