The BLK Building Revolutionizes Luxury Retail in Lagos

The BLK Building, a revolutionary luxury lifestyle concession, has officially opened its doors in Lekki Lagos, offering a curated selection of high-end brands and products. This innovative retail space is the brainchild of Olamide Agunloye, founder of the renowned Iconola fashion brand.

Inspired by the likes of Selfridges on London’s Oxford Street, The BLK Building brings together a diverse range of premium brands, showcasing excellence in fashion, beauty, and lifestyle. The meticulously designed interior of BLK boasts a visually stunning layout, harmoniously blending aesthetics and functionality.

The concession features a collective of prestigious brands, including Iconola, each epitomizing innovation and excellence in their respective fields. This collaborative approach Olamide says is to foster a supportive environment, enabling brands to thrive and reach new heights.

The idea Olamide says is to offer services to people and give them space and value because “there a lot of brands out there that need visibility. BLK stands for, Retail, Rental Space, and Services. When we talk about Retail Rental Space, it means we don’t charge to stock brands, we only charge on their percentage of sales.

“So it’s about brands renting space from us to stock their items, but we are also responsible for marketing and selling the products, which is where the service comes in. So we do pictures, social media content, reporting and revision for the brand, so they can keep track of everything,” says Olamide.

Beyond retail, The BLK Building offers a versatile space for events, including brand showcases, product launches, and photo shoots. Content creators and influencers will also find the perfect backdrop for creating engaging content.

“We are committed to fostering a dynamic and supportive atmosphere where creativity and business can flourish,” said Olamide Agunloye. “Our goal is to provide a platform where brands and creators can thrive, collaborate, and reach new heights.”
