Empowering Resilient Business Leaders at the 12th GAH Awards – Against All Odds

The prestigious 12th GAH Awards, with the theme Against All Odds, is set to celebrate and empower exceptional leaders and innovators who have thrived despite adversity. This year’s event will focus on addressing the challenges of sustainability, resilience, and legacy in African businesses.

‘The GAH Awards will delve into the structural obstacles that threaten the longevity of African businesses, highlighting the need for sustainable and resilient enterprises that endure across generations.” says Dr. Princess Kelechi Oghene Group Managing Director of the GMYT Group, Vissioner and Founder of GAH Awards.

This year, the event’s panel discussions will explore strategies to overcome these challenges, fostering a new era of African businesses that contribute to economic stability, job creation, and community empowerment.

The theme Against All Odds Dr Oghene says emphasizes the resilience of African businesses and the determination to address systemic challenges. “By focusing on systems, resilience, and legacy, the GAH Awards aims to equip leaders with the tools, insights, and support networks they need to create lasting impact.”

Expert panelists will discuss topics including building systems for resilience, legacy and succession planning, and creating enabling environments for business longevity. The GAH Awards encourages a collective approach, involving governments, financial institutions, and the private sector in building an ecosystem that supports African businesses.

Dr. Oghene called on individuals and corporate organisations to Join the GAH Awards in celebrating resilience and building a future of lasting impact for African businesses.
The event which is the 12th edition will take place on December 7, 2024, at Cube 65, Royal Box, Lagos, Nigeria.
