British luxury fragrance house Boadicea The Victorious unveiled its latest scent, Defender, at the Lagos Marriott Hotel, Ikeja GRA. Hosted by Scentified by Cascades Luxury, the event attracted corporate leaders, celebrities, and luxury enthusiasts.
Defender, crafted by Kamila Lelakova, the brand’s first female perfumer, is an Oriental Floral fragrance for men and women. It features zesty ginger, grapefruit, and liquorice, a rich heart of Night Blooming Jasmine and smoky myrrh, and a verdigris leather accord base. Lelakova described it as “bold, emotional, and unforgettable.”
Jeremy Taylor, the brand’s Group Commercial Director, emphasized fragrance as an extension of personality, lauding the partnership with Scentified by Cascades Luxury for their excellence in the West African luxury market. Guests like Mrs. Kate Obalim and Trevor Henry praised Defender’s unique and transformative qualities.
