Music icon Innocent Idibia, widely known as 2Baba, has stirred up social media by confirming his romantic relationship with Edo State lawmaker Natasha Osawaru. 

This announcement comes in the wake of his recent divorce from his wife, Annie Idibia, as the singer expresses his desire to take their relationship to the next level.

Speculation about their relationship grew after 2Baba was seen at the Edo State Assembly, and a video of the two together at a Lagos club surfaced online. 

To address the rumours, 2Baba took to Instagram on Tuesday night, posting a video to clarify the situation.

In a video captioned “To Whom It May Concern. #I Don Yarns My Truth. Feel Free to Continue Alleging. We Shall All Be Alright,” he dismissed the false narratives surrounding him and defended Osawaru, stating that she had no role in his separation from Annie.

In the video, he stated, “I’ve seen so many people spreading false narratives and malicious claims since I posted about my relationship. Yes, I shared my feelings.

“Hon. Natasha has been vilified and called all sorts of names, labeled as a homewrecker. She is a young, brilliant, and amazing woman, and she had nothing to do with what is happening between me and Annie in our marriage. Yes, I love her. She is wonderful, and I want to marry her.”
