Beauty Tips To Up Your Professional Image

In the workplace, projecting a confident, commanding presence is crucial, especially for the boss lady who must always exude total confidence and an air of control and authority.

Here, we explore some essential tips for radiating confidence and commanding attention with your makeup, giving you the perfect boss lady look.

Begin with a Clean Slate
Begin with a clean slate by using a gentle cleanser to remove any dirt or oil, and then apply a moisturiser to create a smooth, even, long-lasting base for your makeup.

Define Your Brows
A well-defined eyebrow can make all the difference in your look. Use a brow pencil or powder to fill in any sparse areas and define the shape of your brows to help you look more polished.

Opt for Neutral Eyeshadow
Less is often more when it cones to workplace makeup, especially with eyeshadow choice. Stick to neutral shades like beige, taupe and brown, and also apply lightly.

Add Definition
Add some definition to your face to make it look chiselled by using a contour.
Contouring your face actually makes it look all snatched.

Choose a Bold Lip Colour
A bold lip colour can help you make a statement. To draw attention to your lips in a confident manner, opt for a shade of bright red that complements your skin tone, and keep the rest of your makeup understated.

Use High Quality Products
Your busy schedule demands products that not only last throughout the day but also make your look sharp and put-together. So, stay away from low quality beauty products.

Use a Setting Spray
To keep your makeup looking polished and professional throughout the day, use a setting spray to help your makeup last longer. Touch up your makeup as needed and keep blotting papers or powder with you to control shine.

TIPS
When it comes to workplace makeup, you don’t want to look like you’ve spent hours in front of the mirror, and you don’t want your makeup to be a distraction. So, remember to opt for a simple, natural look that does not overwhelm your features.
