Terra Kulture, CEO, Bolanle Austen-Peters, was recently honoured by the Ogun State government with a plaque in recognition of her artistic contributions.

The government also announced a partnership with Terra Kulture for a Film and Entertainment Village project.

The project is also in preparation for the upcoming National Sports Festival.

The award-winning movie director, producer, and cultural entrepreneur, who described the collaboration as a landmark cultural project, noted that Terra Kulture aims to create a creative ecosystem in Ogun, including first-class studios, performance halls, and training facilities. The village will provide a home for Ogun’s cultural heroes and become a destination for students, filmmakers, and tourists from around the world.

In a post on her Instagram page, she wrote: “honored to receive this beautiful plaque from the Ogun State Governor HE @dapoabiodunmfr in recognition of my artistic work. I am super excited about the project we are about to embark on with his incredible cabinet. These are truly exciting times.”

Set to commence within the next 60 days, the project will celebrate cultural icons such as Fela Anikulapo Kuti and Professor Wole Soyinka, while providing thousands of job opportunities and positioning Ogun State as a top destination for tourism and creative excellence.
