Teddy A urges women to dress modestly to the Gym

Former Big Brother Naija housemate Teddy A has ignited a discussion about gym attire, urging women to dress more modestly while working out.

In a video posted on his Instagram page, he expressed his concerns regarding what some women consider appropriate gym wear.

“I want to talk about something quickly. If you go to the gym often, you’ll understand what I’m discussing. To our gym queens, I’m not trying to disrespect anyone or be insensitive, but please try to cover your bum before coming into the gym. What’s going on?”

He emphasized that the trend of immodest dressing could lead to women being banned from gyms if it continues.

“We don’t want gyms to start banning girls because of indecent dressing. Is it not until they begin to ban you before you change? There are plenty of gym outfits that can cover everything; there’s no need to expose your lady parts. I’m just saying.”

Teddy A also addressed another important issue: body odor in the gym. He called for individuals to be more mindful of their personal hygiene.

“Also, please make sure to use deodorant when coming to the gym. This is 2025, for crying out loud! I shouldn’t have to fear standing next to someone because they’re overwhelming me with their smell. What’s going on?”

His video has sparked mixed reactions, with some agreeing with his views on gym hygiene and dress codes, while others argue that women should have the freedom to wear whatever makes them comfortable.
