Prince Nelson, Liquorose win AMVCA best dressed
The 11th Africa Magic Viewers’ Choice Awards (AMVCA) kicked off on Friday with the Cultural Day event, marking the official beginning of the series of activities preceding the Award Night on Saturday.
Attendees graced the event with their exquisite traditional attire, presenting a captivating blend of African heritage and the glamour of the film awards.
Stealing the spotlight on Friday among the celebrities are BBNaija stars, Wanni x Handi, Fairme David, Saga, Liquorose, Nollywood actress Mercy Aigbe, Nollywood actor Adedimeji and his wife Mo Bimpe, OAP DOTUN, and a host of others.
Excitedly, Big Brother Naija stars, Prince Nelson and Liquorose won the best dressed for the night and took home whopping N1 million.
The AMVCA is an annual award presented by Multichoice to recognise outstanding achievements in television, film, entertainment, and digital content creation throughout Nollywood and the entire African continent.
The main AMVCA ceremony will be held in Lagos, Nigeria today, May 10, and broadcast live on all Africa Magic channels.
