Phyna Seeks Medical Treatment Abroad for Sister Injured by Dangote’s Truck
Phyna, the winner of Big Brother Naija Season 7, is calling for her sister, Ruth Otabor, to be flown to India for medical treatment.
A video circulating online shows Phyna at the hospital where her sister is being treated, accompanied by individuals identified as members of the Dangote Group management.
The accident occurred on August 13, 2025, near Auchi Polytechnic in Edo State, resulting in severe injuries that led to the amputation of Ruth’s leg.
This incident happened just six days after her graduation from the institution.
In the footage, Phyna criticized the quality of medical care being provided and expressed her desire for her sister to receive treatment abroad. “I am putting my sister as Dangote’s child because if not, Dangote will not bring his child here; they will fly them abroad,” she stated.
When one of the men present objected to her remark, Phyna stood her ground, reiterating, “Dangote will not bring his child here.” When asked if she intended to take her sister abroad, Phyna confirmed her plans, stating, “Yes… India.”
