Vision-Casting for 2026
By Judy Okolo
As 2025 draws to a close, the conversation everywhere seems to be about goals, plans, dreams. Bold declarations for the year ahead. While there is nothing wrong with ambition, there is often little space for honesty in how we approach the future.

Yet, honest reflection is where meaningful vision-casting begins.
Before we rush into 2026, pause and ask a quieter, more powerful question: What has this year taught me about myself?
Not the highlight reel, but the lived experience. What routines did you sustain when life became demanding? Where did your energy thrive, and where did it quietly leak away? These answers matter because vision that is disconnected from reality often becomes another source of pressure.
A grounded approach to setting intentions begins with acknowledging wins and gaps. Perhaps you discovered your body no longer responds well to neglect masked as being busy. Or that discipline alone is not enough – you need structure, accountability, and support.
This is where intentions differ from resolutions. Resolutions tend to be rigid and outcome-driven. Intentions, on the other hand, are directional. They focus on how you want to live, not just what you want to achieve.
An intention might sound like: I intend to prioritise my energy, not just my schedule. Or I choose to support my health consistently, not occasionally.
These are not vague statements; they are anchors that guide daily decisions.
A grounded vision for 2026 also recognises that wellbeing is cumulative. It is shaped by small, repeated choices: adequate rest, nourishing food, foundational supplementation, and environments that support you. Willpower fades. Systems endure. When you build systems around your wellbeing, consistency becomes less of a struggle.
This is also the season to consider the value of support. Working with a Health and Wellness Coach is not a sign of weakness; it is a strategic decision. Coaching helps you translate intention into action, personalise your approach, and avoid repeating the same cycles year after year.
As you begin to vision-cast for 2026, reflect on these questions:
What does wellness look like for me now – not five years ago?
What am I willing to let go of to protect my wellbeing?
What kind of support would make my goals more sustainable?
Vision-casting is about alignment. It is choosing to move into the new year with clarity, compassion, and intention.
So instead of asking, ‘What do I want to achieve in 2026?’ try asking, ‘Who do I need to become to live well in 2026?’
That answer may be the most powerful vision you set all year.
As you step into 2026, may your intentions be clear, your wellbeing supported, and your path prosperous.
Until next time, lets glow intentionally.
