Nollywood actress, director and producer, Ayo Adesanya, clocked 50 on Sunday, August 11.
With a grateful heart and spirit full of praises, the award-winning -actress shared several stunning pictures of herself on social media to celebrate her day.
She captioned one of the pictures as: “And boom just like that the good Lord got me here …hitting 50 like the child of the most the most high that i am…with a grateful heart and spirit full of praises …i say thank you Lord…”
The versatile film actress, who appears in both Yoruba and English-language films hails from Ijagun, Ijebu in Ogun State southwestern Nigeria. She attended St. Ann school at Ibadan, the capital of Oyo State and later proceeded to the University of Ibadan where she obtained a bachelor’s degree in Mass communication.
She began her career in 1996 after she completed the National Youth Service Scheme and her first appearance on television was on Tunji Bamishigbin’s soap opera titled Palace. She later joined the Yoruba-language film indstury, where she has featured, produced and directed several films.
She was formerly married to Goriola Hassan, but now separated. She also has a son.
