5 tips for silky smooth skin

August is here again and its the middle of summer in some climes. It would not be out of place to show off some skin. To this, it is necessary to make sure your skin is in good condition. This is achievable by sticking to a skin care routine. Here are five tips to keep your skin glowing:

1. Water:  It is cheapest way to get a radiant skin that would make heads turn. A large percentage of the human body is made of water. Besides, water contains  full natural minerals that helps improve a person’s complexion. It is also known to reduce the wrinkles and cellulites. Here is the big one, water has zero calories and does help in weight loss goals.

2. Food: You are basically what you eat. Invest in eating colourful and healthy meals and watch the wonders it does for your skin. It also improves the appearance of your nails and hair. Good food makes one confident because there is no chance of feeling bloated even while wearing those super-duper bum shorts and tightly fitted dresses.

3.Moisturize: Dry, ashy and cracked skin are a result of lack of moisture. Do well to invest in skin products  that have moisturising properties.Personally, body oils and coconut oils are the surest bet for body moisture. A bit of advice here, choose skin products with natural ingredients than refined ones. It would save you skin problems later on. The best time to moisturise is after a shave, exfoliation or bath.

4.  Exfoliate:This is literally the removal of dry/dead skin cells from the surface of the skin. Exfoliation is done to improve the overall skin texture, detoxify and brighten the appearance of your skin. Exfoliation leaves ones skin looking younger. There are however, debates on how often one should exfoliate. Nevertheless, understand what works best for your skin and stick to it.

5. Yoga exercise: It promotes better sleep. Sleeping relieves stress and also promotes a healthy and glowing skin. Skin problems arises from stress and depression. Yoga  is an antidote to these. Starting off with yoga and exercises is usually a big deal but try to incorporate it into your lifestyle. Consistency and determination will pay off sooner than you know. Need I add that Yoga and exercise helps tighten ones abs and make firm the booties. See, why you should give it a try?
