Unknown ritualists seal off Ondo APC secretariat

Following the crisis rocking the All Progressive Congress (APC) over the primary election for the upcoming gubernatorial seat in Ondo state, new reports revealed that unknown ritualists have locked up the state party secretariat located at Oyemekun road in Akure with palm fronds and charms.
Two weeks ago, it would be recalled that some agitated party members led by Barrister Tolu Babaleye and Honourable Saka Yusuf Ogunleye had locked up the APC party secretariat with the intention of preventing the party chairman in the state, Honourable Isaac Kekemeke from entering the office.
They did so to protest against the alleged plan of one of their party’s national Leaders, Bola Tinubu, to impose one Segun Abraham as the party’s gubernatorial candidate. They also accused the party chairman of soliciting the support and votes of people for Abraham ahead of the party primary election coming up on September 3rd.
However, the Ondo Police Public Relations Officer, Femi Joseph, speaking about the incident said that officers of the command did not find the persons that put the charms there.
