Ace comedian, Bright Okpocha a.k.a Basketmouth made history, when he became the first and only African to have a comedy show that was completely sold out at The SSE Arena, Wembley, London.

It was reported that Basketmouth thrilled the audience with a 1 hour and 30mins set which received a standing ovation from the entire arena. He also delivered pure uncensored comedy.

Guest of honor, The Mayor Of Brent was in attendance and was accompanied by the MP of Brent; Dawn Butler, who confessed to being Basketmouth’s number one fan.

Before giving his vote of thanks at the end of the show, Basketmouth took to the stage to announce that Lords Of The Ribs will be returning to the SSE Arena Wembley for the 11th Edition next year.

He wrote on Instagram:

‘‘History was made on Valentine’s Day at The Wembley Arena, London. As fans came out to show support and helping me become the first African Comedian to Headline the Wembley Arena.

”I want to say a very BIG thank you to everyone that came out, thank you for being part of my dream and making it come true.
I will be returning to the Wembley Arena on the 11th of February 2018, which will also mark my 20th year on stage as a performing comedian.

See you and love you all”
