What is going on between this two? Rapper AKA surprises Bonang Matheba and gifts her a Gucci bag

It was just two days ago that South African rapper, AKA announced that he has called it quits with his media personality girlfriend, Bonang Matheba.
Now, he surprised her with a Gucci bag at her place of work today, February 20, 2017.
Probably the break-up story was a publicity stunt going by what happened today or he is trying to make amends.
You would recall that AKA gave relationship advice on Twitter following their break-up announcement saying that a guys should never love a woman more than she loves him which was met with several criticisms before he later modified the tweet to:
“Don’t love a woman who has never been loyal in any/most of her relationships”
Now, the rapper surprised Bonang with a Gucci bag.
On Instagram, an excited Bonang shared the picture of the designers bag gift from AKA and wrote:
“My heart can’t actually take it…!! Thank you baby…. Love! Love! Obsessed!! Dying… Surprises at work even?!I’m so spoilt… Thank you,”
