Tanzania Rapper arrested for throwing jibes at president in his new song has been released

Tanzanian President John Magufuli, nicknamed ” The Bulldozer” for his stringent leadership arrested Rapper, Ney Wa Mitego for insulting his government in his new song.
This came after President John Magufuli warned media owners to be wary of how they use their press freedom. However, latest news update reveal the rapper had regained freedom. He was released a day after he was arrested for releasing a song deemed to have insulted the government.
Emmanuel Elibariki, who is simply known on stage as Ney Wa Mitego directed several jibes at the President in his new song ‘Wapo’, which has gone viral on social media.
