Veteran actor, Pete Edochie clocks 70 today

Today marks a landmark birthday for veteran Nollywood actor, Pete Edochie as he clocks 70.
The actor is well known for his role as Okonkwo, a brave man in TV series, Things Fall Apart. The legendary actor has gone on to act in other movies, like Igodo, Egg of Life, The Lions, Evil Men, Oracle, and Narrow Escape.
He has also done all roles imagineable, husband, billionaire, wicked uncle and more and delivered on all of them admirably.
His son, Yul Edochie, who is also an actor took to his Instagram page to wish his father, the best, as he turns 70;
Happy 70th birthday to my father, Chief Pete Edochie. I thank God for your life and i pray you see many more great years. God be with you always Dad!
In 2014, Pete was honoured with an AMVCA Industry Merit Award for his influence in the growth of the African movie industry.
Even though, he is now 70, it is worthy of note that he’s still attractive to younger members of the Nollywood industry.
