Veteran Actress, Ego Boyo becomes 60th President of International Women’s Society (IWS)

Veteran actress, Ego Boyo, who played Anne Haastrup in popular Television drama series in the 90s-Checkmate, has been named the 60th President of International Women’s Society, Nigeria.
Her investiture ceremony held yesterday at the Lagos Preparatory School, Ikoyi, Lagos.
It had in attendance Ifeoma Williams, Jasmine Tukur, Mo Abudu, Lanre Da Silva- Ajayi , Rita Dominic, Kemi ”Lala” Akindoju amongst others, who came to throw their support for the new president.
Ego Boyo has starred in many more Nigerian movies and television series. Though she has been off the Nollywood scene, she is still very much a household name in the industry.
